Danna Taboada

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Danna Taboada is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Latino Studies and English. She aims to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology to become a clinical psychologist and researcher. She hopes to research how serious mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, uniquely impact the young Latinx community, as well as the development of seasonal depression in college students. With this knowledge, she hopes to help create effective treatments and refine existing treatments for these individuals. Outside of the lab, Danna is a Ronald E. McNair scholar, the Public Relations Chair of Contigo Perú, a member of the Salsa Pa’lante performance team, and a member of Psi Chi.
